Good Price to pay for LQ4 with spun cam bearing?

I found a 2004 Vortec 6.0 with 79K on it. Complete motor with ECU. Has a spun cam bearing however. What would be a fair price to pay for it?

    Thanks,
    C.J.

Spun cam bearing is a big deal to repair.

The rest makes it worth the $300. If the cam bearing bore is bad then a good block will be needed and all parts will have to be swapped over. Potentially you could have a good engine for about $400 after repairing the cam bearing and putting a good used cam in it. If not its time to get at it. Heads are $200, crank is good for $100, wiring and pcm good for $200 if you part it out. $100 for covers. Its worth the effort.

Yeah my point was if the cam bearing was spun it's likely the block is dead or will cost too much to revive it.

Ahh ****, that sucks. I'd be pissed to buy an engine and then find out I need a new block to get it in running condition.
