LS1 VS RumbleBee

Well, I guess it's time to mod the LS1. I was cruising to work when a dude in a new Dodge RumbleBee pulls up along side of me. We both nailed it and it was like a dance, we just ran down the road hand in hand. Time to give up the stock LS1 and add some performance parts to it. I know it had to piss him off that an old 92 extended cab truck kept up with his brand new pricey Hemi, though.

I thought the "Rumble Bee" was just an appearance package. Do they have anything done to them?

Oh, my bad. It wasn't a RumbleBee. It was a shortbed standard cab Hemi truck. I forgot the RB had a stripe that said RB on it. This one said HEMI is big bold letters and a stripe at the back of the bed side running from the top to bottom with HEMI on it.

Does the Rumble Bee have any performance mods done to it from the factory? Or is is just a Pretty lookin Hemi.

Ya, I got on one of the HEMI forums to see E.T. and dyno #'s.....WHAT is dodge smoking because it's not the tires.. 345hp OVER RATED.... Don't get me wrong, they run OK, ( my wife drives one) but not 345hp!!!!! Their dyno #'s are 250hp, thats 95hp loss in drivetrain. And the rumblebee runs 15.5et @ 88mph with coldair and exhaust. I'm thinking 310hp tops.

I like the (kill)area of the RumbleBee forum.. They talk about how they kill Mustangs and Camaros.. BUT they lack saying their V6 cars 15.5et isn't killing an LS1, sorry!!!!!

I have yet to get one to race me. Guess their scared of my exhaust(Kinda loud)
