Question 3 bolt or 1 bolt cam?

I was given a very good deal on a cam kit that i am going to purchase but I was told it was a 3 bolt cam, im wondering if my 4.8 is a 3 bolt or a single bolt?
    Thanx in advance!

If you have a single you can still use a 3 bolt cam, you just got to replace the cam sprocket to match. Or am i wrong.

I dont think its quite that easy.

I have seen Lingenfilter makes a "kit" to retrofit the cams
    and adapt the cam sensor

there is a special sprocket you have to get to generate 4 pulses per revolution of the cam versus 2 pulses in the older model. Surely someone already is marketing the 3 bolt 4 pulse cam sprocket.

That must be what I saw Lingenfilter selling on ebay.
They do make a swap sprocket kit too.
