12-25 hp over the 98 intake? 12 hp over the 2000 ls6 intake? if you use the extremes you end up with an intake just as good as the 2003 ls6 intake. Is aluminum so you can spray the hell out it. One major plus.

I got some more scoop on the LS1 intake swap...

Speartech got back to me!!! They are full of info! Alas, they make the relocation bracket for about $75. That moves the idler pulley down so the TB don't hit anything.

Once you have the idler pulled moved down, then you need to do something about the agua pump. You can do one of two things...Cut the top piece down to about 3/4" to clear everything, or snag a front hosed LS1 water pump used for about $50.

Next, it'd be best to use a '97-98 C5 fuel rail as it has a return line like the trucks do. The stock truck one will suffice but will look queer due to the tall x-over line. With the C5 rail, you can then run the regular cheapass Bosch injectors (like on Mustangs) then you just need to splice in the correct injector plugs...that's EZ. that means you can get some larger injectors for super, super cheap! 42lbs/hr's for less than $250!

    All I got for now...

They are the same for the 4.8 to 6.0 motors... around 24lbs/hr I believe.

Speartech can be a bit difficult to contact, but once you do they are very cool!

You can swap to standard Bosch injectors with a simple harness change, should cost about $40 plus install. Then you can use all the high imp injectors.

Dont you have that FAST intake?

Ah okay... well since you have that intake, here's what I'd do:

Get those lil injector clips to use regular Bosch injectors.
Get some used 42lbs/hr or 36lbs/hr injectors... ebay! Those should support mad power on your Procharger.

Last, tune the PCM for the injector offset.

In the july 04 CHP mag it states that the 6.0 truck intake outperforms the Z06 intake on the LS1. The only one that outperformed it was the F.A.S.T. LSX intake but only by 3 hp and 3 lb. ft. The only drawback that they seen was it was too tall to fit under the f-body's hood. Oh yeah they called it "BIG UGLY"...Zed
