ok, guys, just wanted to apologize for the delay on pm's and emails. i live out in the boonies and the only internet access that is somewhat reliable is satellite from direcway, trust me i've tried them all, twice!! haha. the only real reliable one is isdn but that's 270$/month, ouch, for 64K, yuck!
I'm using netzero now and all seems to be well except i can't send messages , just receive them, so i have about 40 messages waiting to be delivered. btw, anyone interested in internet access and only has modem, give netzero a try, it's really faster, they compress the images and only display them at 16bit, you have the option of better quality.
Direcway promises they will be out to fix the satellite, we'll see.

so that's why i haven't been on, i'll reply to as much threads as possible, if you sent an email, it's stuck in my outbox, if you sent a pm , i'm trying to reply to them all.

    thanks,

    allen

Glad to see ya back online Allen. Sucks that you are having so much trouble finding an online service provider, but I guess thats part of the cost of living out i the "sticks".

Anyways, glad to see ya back.

I got a direcway dish I may be willing to let go of for a nominal fee.
I finally was able to get comcast so it is kinda useless just sitting out there in the yard. PM me if anyone is interested.

2 cans? aren't those birds from south america with big honking beaks? So I guess the string would be to tie messages to their legs?

Yeah I have Direct TV also, and they wanted something silly like $60/mo after I bought a $600 dish lol No thanks, I'll stick to dialup.
