Worst job I have ever had in my life. I come into work today thinking its going to be a good day because its almost the weekend and what could go wrong lol. Well I get in and find out my manager tried to get me fired. He told the store manager that on tuseday I left my shift early. He said he told me to do stuff, and I told him no its not my job, didn't do any cleaning, didnt close any registers and left. Well well, luckly for me we have cameras, and we keep track of who closes registers. I told him to check the camera for me cleaning and check the close reg slips for my employee number and signature. What a freaking liar, after I called him out on it, he told me well i dont like you working in my department. Its because I dont take bs from him anymore. HR said they noticed he treats me different then everyone else, and is always harassing me. But there is nothing they can do right now. So they moved me to another department. This guy is so stupid, he has been working there for over 4 months, cant use a register, cant talk to customers, cant check email, make a schedule, or even use a DVD player lol. He has had everyone in the store complain about him. The store manager knows he lied to him about me leaving with out doing anything because he already checked. And thats why he offered me the job in another department.
What makes it worse is he is scared of me, so he wont talk to me lol,

I am going to start looking for another job, I figured I could wait this one out until i graduate but now i get some stupid idiot who doesnt like me try to get me fired.

I worked at Sears also and the most of the people that work there are a bunch of frikin dumb ass people. Rude and stuck up! Good luck on finding a new job.

I'm having the same problem Ricky. I have come to the conclusion that older guys with less experience, feel threatened by us younger educated guys. You are a step away from a degree, and your better than that place. So dont get too upset. IMO Find a way to do what you love, and get paid to do it. I want Jons Job!!! lol I love my job, but hate the politics in it.

Lawyer up, Man, before the video tape is gone. Wrongful termination is a way to pay for your degree. They have video evidence. The worst that can happen is the jerk gets fired.

If they did fire me, i would be all over that.. and the store manager knows he is not telling the truth about this because he already checked the tapes, and stuff. Thats why he moved me into another department. If someone really did walk out on there job he said they would be put on the do not hire list. Jeff I know what you mean about this, he is an idiot.. I am not going to let this down, ill see if there is a district manager i can talk to, because i remember when i requested my 2 weeks off, he refused to give it to me, and harassed me about it. HR gave me the time off because there is no reason i wasn't allowed it. He got ticked off from that too. He also got mad at me once because a customer made a comment about how stupid he was and how the employee's shouldn't know more then the managers lol. It was funny to watch the customer call him stupid.

Ricky...if that old douche is still there when you graduate...walk right up to him and kick him in the nuts....he deserves it! But yeah I had the same problem with my old job...I was basically doing all the supervisor duties and what not and someone tries to blame me for doing nothing and blah blah blah....I told them check the chore sheet, the cameras, and ask the other employees who were working. 2 weeks later I quit that place cuz I couldnt stand how stupid it had gotten. The only thing is its kinda tough to find a job right now....and your super close to a degree so I would have to say to just tough it out for a lil while longer...dont stop looking for a job but dont quit till you find one...and when you graduate come back show the douche your diploma and give him a swift kick to the nuts!
