    Werid noise on SSS

i have a question no one can answer yet. my SSS has the muffler cut off. long story, cut it off to see how would sound then liked it and spent exhuast money i had saved up. that was a year ago and besides that truck is stock.. till next week.

anyways when it shifts it makes this huge bang noise in the exhuast. almost like the trucks saying BRAHHH lol. its so annoying and sounds like ****. now if i manualy shift it and get it just right it will do a normal sounding nice hard shift.

ive heard its something with the cats being the only thing having backpressue build up

cats have failed and are probably hollow. Unburned fuel is pooling there and exploding in the chamber. Been there, done that.

well the driver side cat is done, but its done this for 20k miles. and it isnt that loud so i dont think they hollowed out.

ive let it slide for every due to getting my race truck right now its time to make a fun daily and get header back. im just curious
