Running board blows off dents truck

Hey guys got a question for ya .OKay i got 03 avalanche it came with factory running boards, not the metal westins the ones i have have a plastic cover.Okay heres my problem im cruising down the interstate at 80mph and the damn cover blows off,it left three scratches and a dent, . all the way down the bed.Scared the hell out of my wife.and im lucky some guy on a bike wasnt behind me.The thing hit the pavement and bounced 20 feet in air.Well why the hell should i have to pay my deductable,or should i complain to Gm and try to get them to cover it.I should call the NTSB cause i cant be the only one.What would you do truck only has 11000 miles on it?

Contact GM customer service. They will take care of you. That is a liability issue and they quickly resolve those. Your vehicle is protected by a warrantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Parts falling off would be covered under workmanship. Call the 800 number.....1-800-chev-usa I think.

I'd call the dealer and see what they say, it's a new truck, that shouldn't of happen, but you know how dealerships are!
They'll do anything to get away with not fixing thier shit.

Well heres a update GM rocks.they are going to fix and repaint entire truck, for nothing.They said they have to repaint entire truck cause victory red is damn near impossible to color match.

if i where u i would call gm or talk to the dealer u bought it from because it is new and that can't be ur falt and i wouldn't wanna pay the deductable because it is asmbaliy falt
