Well, this weekend we made a trip down to Nelson to get some live tunes. His car is a 05 m6 GTO with lt headers, OR midpipes, and a cold air. As far as my truck it was still untuned from the cam swap.
Allen decided to go ahead and do a Speed Density tune on my truck because of the cam, BTW big thanks to Nelson!!! The truck is totally different, she never stops pullin... My buddy was realy happy with his tune also. So before we left, Allen told us to call him after we raced cause he wanted to know what happens. Well here it is...
We first tried a 30 punch, the truck lost traction and the goat pulled 2 lengths on me... not too happy at this point
So we went from a 60...lol I still didnt win but very close, at 100MPH my front bumper was at his backseat! Very impressed, the truck is startin to get scary fast for the fat pig that she is. Now I cant wait for my highstall and some cal-tracs... Its always somethin
We finally made it back into Tyler at about 10pm on sat. So of course we had to go cruise Broadway. All of our friends were out so we had to show off a lil. Another one of our friends has a 03 C5 with cold air, and a catback so Matt (GTO bud) hit this guy up for a race. Matt OWNED the C5... It was a good race, by 4th gear Matt had a good 2 cars on the vette... So its my turn now heheh
Yeah the C5 beat me but I never got a 60 punch. From a 30 he would pull on me until I got traction then he went nowhere. Man I need some cal-tracs! I was just happy that a Corvette took me serious when I asked him to race me lol
All in all, it was an awsome weekend. That vette better watch out in a few months

I beat a Vette!!! That truck is insane Chris...If I would have known I could make a truck that fast for so cheap I might not have a GTO

Good runs though, I had a ton of fun last weekend!!

Yeah maybe I can get you guys a vid this weekend. Matt, with his GTO will be coming by friday to change some rear diff fluid. So we'll get a 60 punch vid goin pretty soon... Cant wait

Oh yeah forgot to mention that the truck got 21.5mpg on the way back from Nelson this last weekend. Very nice for a cammed 6.0l if you ask me
