Couple questions on 6.0 and 4l80e

I Have a 2002 1500 hd that I just picked up for a steal of a deal. I knew before I bought it that the trans was going out of it. Question is where is the best place to get a reasonably priced master rebuild kit, along with a pump and converter. I see kits on ebay for around $156 that are complete and ones for $256 with the red clutches which I know hold up better. Any info on where to get a good kit would be great if I dont have to pay up the nose. As for my 6.0 question I want to run dual exhaust but heard doing this really hurts how fast the truck gets out of the hole. Any advice here would also be appreciated. I have read on the exhaust but heard mixed reviews I was thinking leave the cats and run a performance chambered muffler with 2.5" pipe. I work at an exhaust shop so the price is right.

checkout FLT, theyre a sponser here!! i'm sure vince can help out on what parts you need for the tranny, also converter, as for exhaust unless youre gonna make some decent power stay with the stock pipe size. if you dual it stay with 2.5

I looked at there web site and it looked like they only sold complete transmissions I will have to call and find out.

FLT got out of the parts business. I'm sure Vince will post up if there is something they sell in parts form. Most guys go through online transmission parts sites to get what they need.

6.0 ought to already have dual exhaust 'cept for the muffler and tailpipe.
