    Almost cam time!

I got my cam kit today and the rods. I have 3 gallons of dexcool, a tube of the red loctite, Andy- 99sierra4x4 is savin my ass and sending me the lifter rods, the spring compressor, and the air tool for the valves, I'm working on getting the longer crank bolt and the seal/gasket I need. I'm ready for any tips/tricks anybody has to offer me!

Its about time man. If you cant find a longer bolt just go to gm and get the zo6 crank bolt, there about a inch longer. Worked great. and a impact gun is the way to go for the the pulley bolt.

I know I know, it feels like forever since I've been wanting to do this. I haven't stopped lookin at it since it got delivered haha. I want to get the Z06 bolt, but I tried 2 stores and notta. Do I need to go right to a GM dealer or will NAPA or somebody have it?

Yea you need to go directly to gm, those bolt have a special cut that pritty one no one has. Its just a way for gm to make a little bit more money off you.

EDIT: there really cheap there like 6 buxks for the z06 bolt . And while your there you might want to pick up a brand new permeant bolt since it a torque to yield style bolt..
