    need a recomendation and opinions

I have an s10 that is going through a 6.0 conversion, I was planning on doing the wiring with a few buddies, but for the sake of ease and looks am thinking about having one made for me.

I have talked to current performance about having one made but I can't justify spending 700+ on and waiting 12 weeks for when I could have put togather for the cost of wires, equipment, and some pizza and a 12 pack and have it done in a few days. does anyone know of a good company that makes wiring harnesses? and what would be a good price for one?

also for those of you who have done the wiring yourself how much of a headache is it. I have a few friends who are good with wiring, and I pick up things pretty fast, but it would be the first time I have tried to do something this big by myself.

and lastly, how many people would like me to start a build thread here?( the link in my sig is too a different site)

Sometimes it helps just to build a thread for your personal reference. I do it all the time. Nelson Performance can build you a harness a whole lot faster. Give them a call.

    Speartech Fuel Injection Systems

inspite of the info on the home page they make all kinds of CUSTOM 1 off wiring setups and for the S10 they may have an OFF THE SHELF kit to make it a dream kinda easy.....

this company is owned by a retired GM Electrical Engineer so NO ONE in the after market is better suited to help with the wiring........

    +1 on the BUILD THREAD!!!!!!!

don't you know that the worlds best trucks are made with blood, sweat, and beers?

my buddies that would be helping with the wiring work on radar and sighting systems that are worth millions. i'm sure that they could handle combining an s10 harness with a 2003 silvy harness. I have the s10 diagram and the silvy's is only a trip to the dealer.

i'm not saying its not worth it, I said I couldn't justify it with what i've already spent on the truck.
