Cool Got a question for y'all

I have been looking around and I have found the EFILive flash PCM programer that the big bouys ue to custom tune our pcm's. My question is. What do you think about the possibility that the investment could turn into something more? I have a full time job now but I work 12hr shifts and at night. I kinds sucks because it just ai'nt natural to be workin' while your supposed to be sleepin'. I'm 45 and i don't want to work nights forever, i am thinking this could be a good alternative.... Let me have your HONEST opinions please.

It takes alot more than just learning to do a couple of tunes and then trying to sell them. There is alot to learn and the potential to hurt alot of things too. I'm sure not going to tell you you cant, but it will take a while and alot of practice.

I think you can only use it to program one VIN. Most programmers are set up like that, even the ones that you can change the settings on. I'm sure somebody here that has one already will give some input.

I dont know much about EFI live, but with HP tuners, you can buy credits for each car or you can buy a group.

I know it will be a protracted process to learn to tune. I do not expect to an "overnite success' by any means. You do have to purchase licenses for each pcm you tune, but they have a workshop deal that gets you unlimited access

Side note (kind of) I worked nights for about 7 years and I would suggest you ditch it ASAP. There's a lot of info about the higher rate of depression and anger issues with individuals working nights. I almost got canned a few times for physical confrontations. Try to throw one guy into a piece of rotating machinery and they get all bent out of shape...

I take 30mg of Celexa and 100mg of Elavil to curb mine. I realized something was majorly wrong when I opend the frige on morning and there was no milk. I would have killed my wife if i could have gotten too her.
