My truck still does not want to move in drive. I checked and checked and checked the fluid in it and I am sure it is not low. It goes just fine in reverse. When i pull it into reverse you can feel it engage. But what i put it in drive it does not feel the same. When I push on the gas the rpm's come up some and it barely creeps forward. It feels as though it is slipping but I dont know why it would seeing as how it was fine untill i changed the pan. Is there any explination for not going in drive but acting fine in reverse. Could I have cut a wire along side the trans or pulled one out? I need help. I am supose to dyno in a week.

Are you not showing any Service lights? Are you sure you did not disconnect any connectors when installing the new pan? It sounds like you are low on fluid pressure which leads me to think you knocked the connectors loose on the valve body when doing the install. Have you attempted to check the fluid pressure? My ATSG manual says it may be a torque convertor but if you can drive backwards fine I would not think convertor. If you get a code I can tell you what it is.

Did you remove the valve body for any reason?

If you removed the main electrical connector from the transmission, you could have damaged pins. The connections are highly important and will cause problems if not making the proper contact.
