    Titains Chances

So, my buddy just got a 05 Nissan Titian with 106k on it, its a quad cab. Last night he was talking to my roommate(he has a 99 5.3 with intake and exhaust) about how bad he would eat any of our lunches in a race. My truck runs a 12.72 in 1000 foot. 5.3 90k, Only mod I have for the current time is a airrade intake and he has a intake as well(which i installed and FYI don't do it if any titian owner ask you to do it b/c you have to take the driver side tire off and inner fender out). What are my chances b4 i talk the gmc up to much?

i wouldnt talk too much crap unless you have 3.73's or 4.10's. other than that, i think he'll take ya, although you do have a weight advantage, so it could be close. those titans are very torquey and get off the line pretty quick.

stock 3:42 but at the track i don't spin I hook up and go. on the street it's a different story and from what i hear 3:42's to 3:73's isn't much difference, it's just like a tooth reduction off of the pinion or ring one

Don't worry about it--go out and hand that Nissan his ass. I am sure you will outrun him. If not--so what--go get some more mods so you CAN whoop his ass.

I know there is a titan arround here that runs consistant low 15's with just intake and exhasut I think. you with only a intake wil be running high 15's. You should get him in the 60 ft, but he will run you down... get a tune and you will hold him off at about 1/2-1 full length. get gears and headers with a good set of tires and you will walk all over him. IMHO.
