EVO 9MR....ouchhh

Well on my way down to allens this morning I saw an evo9, slightly lowered, and probably an exhaust of some sort get on the freeway. I hauled ass up to get behind him so he would move over. He moves over and I punch the throttle and let off to let him here my 5lbs of fury go through the wastegate. Im sure at this point he was most likely laughing or scratching his head with a WTF.. Probably doing both. So I putt along a little further and get in front of him and let him come on my driver side.

I roll my window down and he yells out, IS THAT THING TURBOED? Tell him yes and ask him if he wants to go from 50. Of course he agrees. I hit the horn 3 times and of course he is probably brake boosting a little or at least building boost somehow. I hit the third horn and he instantly puts a car on me. I hit full boost and he only pulls about another half of a car uptil about 115ish? We slow back down, I tell him this is my exit and he has a badass car. Says the same thing and I exit.

Definately got pwned by a modded evo9 mr. But im still happy. I mean it could have been worse.

im not taking sides with the evo, although they do have a special place in my heart. but they only have a 2.0 liter engine. so its still pretty impressive. but then on duckys side he is pushing alot more weight, even a rec cab is close to 4k isnt it. so one is lighter but a smaller engine and one weighs more and has a bigger engine and bigger turbo, but the evo has awd on his side. so pretty much i myself wont be racing any evo's anytime soon. till i sts the tbss

I dunno it wasn't too bad of a loss, but I shall be redoing the exhaust with wrap etc. pretty soon so I should see a faster spool. Hopefully another pound or so too.

no im not raggin on you, its awesome that a truck, something meant for work duty is staying within close range of one of the fastest sport compacts on the market. all i was saying was that i love evo's as they have my all time favorite engine (after the ls2) in them the 4g63 iron block beast. too bad mitsu nixxed it in the new evo X.
