and also it looks like im gonna get a 3000 stall for a good price. would i be able to thow it in before i do a cam or is it one of those things that i do together. cause my truck is a dog anything below 2800 rpms. and i just got my tranny rebuilt about 3000 miles ago with a few upgraded parts and i also put in billet servos. is this gonna put alot of excess wear on my tranny or should i not be worried?

GenIII engines have roller camshafts so no would be the answer about using a flat tappet camshaft in your late model engine.

just throw the stall in whenever it dont matter what time you put it in at....stalls will cause the trans to run a little warmer but you prob dont need to worry about it
