so i finnaly brought my tranny to a local rebuild shop. after dealing with junkyard units so this guy has me conviced that a stock rebuild will be fine. i sure hope so. i think iam going to drop off a transgo hd2 for him. iam only paying $650 for the rebuild

what modds are you runnin on the engine? if its preety much stock you will be ok, If your gunna mod allot, you can get a built tranny for about the same price as a stock rebuild. IMO Contact FLT. Finishline transmissions.

I wouldn't expect much for a $650 rebuild on a 60e. He's probably just throwing in aftermarket parts to replace the stock stuff. Be sure you get a warranty in writing for the rebuild. Read it over carefully. You know the say, you get what you pay for.

i got my tranny back today. the band was burnt up which killed the drum and the 3/4 pack was slightly burnt. one day turn around i hope he did good work i didnt get to put it in yet i post up when i drive it tomorrow should go nice with the 4:10s iam puting in also o yea and he gave me a one year unlimted mile warranty
