zex has the wot switch, but i have the msd window so no spray while shifting. I was told its bad on the tranny. ie: I got a 3600 on and 5600 off pills. My tranny shifts at 5800 ands ingages at 3450 or so while at WOT. I was told the window switch also acts as a wot switch. I think all you need is tr6 pluggs and a tune for more of a shot. IMO

A 50-75 shot will work fine. Just use the TR6 plugs like Jeff said and retard the timing 2 degrees when you spray. Rule of thumb is 2 degrees for every 50 shot. The window switch will help save the tranny and give you a little more comfort. I was pushing a 150 shot without a window switch but I could afford a new tranny if I screwed it up. It's you choice. LOL the higher octane will help out also but you'll be fine on 93 octane. You're putting one of the safest shot amounts on your truck. A good friend of mine is spraying a 100 shot with just TR6 plugs and it's a 2000. We installed our nitrous at the same time which was back in 2000 and his truck still runs fine. We must have gone through 20 plus 15lb bottles of juice on the street and never once got pulled over. LOL

    Good Luck!

i already have tr6s for the f/i ,but theeyre at 35 .should i change the gap ?and everyone says back off timing 2 degrees for every 50 shot.how do you know that some people are running 20 degrees initial timing and some some are running 28 dgrees so whats the deal with that? .i think im running 21-23 degrees.?

21-23 degrees should be ok but if you really want protection you can get a timing tuner from Nitrous Outlet or possibly Allen Nelson. I haven't messed with too much of the timing tables in HPTuners. Leave the gap, .035" will be fine. I wouldn;t go over .040"
