Hi, I'm not new to this site, but just became a member! I've gotten a lot of good info from here, I'm currently installing a 6.0/4L80E into an '86 Silvy and you guys have been a ton of knowledge. I started it a couple of weeks ago, but still working out the bugs and drove it out of the shop last night. Got to get it to the muffler shop so I can get on the road!!!!

Yeah, this is a really great place to get info/help when you live in a small town where there isn't a lot of shops doing the LSX thing.

Hey Dave--Welcome! Yeah, it is tough to find people to know stuff about LSX motors when you live so far out... But it sounds like you have enough mechanical sense to get it all done by yourself! You plan on modding the 6.0L?

It's in the plan, want to see what it will do stock. All it has is a tune, a K&N and duals. The first problem is the stock gear is to high but that's a cheap fix. My goal is to out run my son's 99 T/A that's running 8's in the 1/8. in order to do that I know there will be MODS!!
