the cam he mentioned above will work fine with nitous as well as the LS6 cam.
Just a little FYI. We had a customer with a Formula (Trans Am) and we did an LS6 cam, lid, tune, and a 150 shot and he ran 7.0 in the 1/8. That car had stock manifolds, cats, 2:73's, stock stall. It is a little of a freak, but the LS6 cam will work great with 100 shot as well as N/A.

You also have to decide if you want all your power on the bottle, or more of an all around power, N/A, and when you spray. If you want to get the most out of your nitrous you should look for a good nitrous cam, but it wont be as wicked when your not spraying.

    I have a cam that was designed for nitrous use for sale. It's a 232/236 .614 .597 113.

    I also have a TR 224 114LSA for sale.

Either way you go for N2O you'll want the LSA to be atleast 133 or wider. Thunder Racing has some real nice N2O cams spec'd out right off the shelf.

with NOS you can add more fuel to the mixture since you're adding more oxygen. The whole trick to making more power is getting more fuel, oxygen and spark into the cylinders. Thats essentially what you're doing when you put in a bigger cam, helping it breathe better to move more fuel and oxygen through the combustion process.

The stress begins on the bearings in the rotating assembly due to the additional HP created. Staying under 600 total HP seems to be the key with stock GM parts with any power adder.
