Question What to do with dead motor?

OK, what do I do with my dead motor? I am sure the block is reusable/rebuildable.

Crank, HMMM I am not so sure on that. After it locked up, I would hate to imagine the stress it had on it.

One 317 head is flawless with 918's. One 317 head needs new valves and reworked to clean up the scars.

The issue is part of me thinks the factory motor might have some value in a limited production # vehicle. My 2004 VHO is one of around 1,000 built. Granted, nothing else is stock anymore, but I was just thinking out loud.

It will make a nice paper weight

You could part it out if you wanted let the buyer figure out whether or not they want to use the parts you are willing to sell.

Yeah, I could pick it up. I'm going to head to SA Monday or Tuesday of next week hopefully for a live tune. Waiting to hear back from Allen on that.
