I wonder if that's one of those GM test engines they run on a dyno for 30k simulation miles. It looks clean but the fact there are no exhaust manifolds on it makes me wonder. Its from Canada and there is tons of rust...don't know why a new engine would be so rusted, maybe its just normal for a cast iron block though mine aren't rusted that bad.

there is one exhaust manifold on it..but even that is still weird

yea i was wondering the same thing about the rust
The exhaust ports on the driver side look perfectly clean. Maybe they just have horrible humidity up there.
