A few days ago, she posted on the "Live Tech Help" chat board that she would be doing different odd jobs around the office including "flashing." What kind of "performance" shop are you guys running down there?

Yeah, she was on for a short time on Wed. or Thurs. and chatted with some of us. She listed her daily duties--and flashing was listed. I was like WTF?

Maybe flashing PCM's back? I dunno I have heard that word used before in terms of the PCM and tuning.

The way we tune is as follows, we flash a pcm with your vin, this applies a new OS and GM's latest fixes and updates, then we read it, then save it, I edit it, then it's loaded back on the pcm.
Jonathan and Melissa will doing most of it, the only step I will do is the actual editing "tuning" it. Everything else is very easy to do.

So, foroever and ever, I'll be the only one tuning a pcm.

hope this helps to clarify things.

We hired a new employee to take care of business in the office, I'm sure she'll introduce herself Monday.
She'll be doing billing, shipping, flashing (not tuning), paper work, ordering, etc, and most of all, phone calls.
She comes from NAPA where we buy most of our local parts, and I like the way she handled yourself.
