    My Swap cont. *Pics*

    DAY 1.

Well after a 12 hour turn around me and one of my friends were able to get the 4.3 engine out. It was a pretty big mess when the engine popped off from the transmission. I really didnt have to take too much stuff off. I did have to pivot the engine sideways so that it would pull out. We had alot of trouble acually getting the engine out because the hoist we had didnt go up high enough. So it was alot of back and fourth stuff. Today its just gonna be me by myself working so I am gonna get the exhaust out, finish puling the 4.3 wiring harness out of the truck, clean up the engine bay, and then get the 5.3 ready to go in. I am shooting to actually have the engine sitting in the bay by tonight, but im not gonna hold my breathe for that.

You're gonna love it dude. I just got mine done about 3 days ago and I don't want to get out of the truck, ever. Yours should be pretty straight forward because you are using the same year group motor (1999-2002 and 2003-2006 have different wiring and other issues). Keep us updated!

Just an observation. But wouldn't things be easier if you took off the grill, headlights, rad, etc. off?
