1/4 mile strip near Denton thats open on Saturdays?

I believe the closest ¼ mile strip is in Ennis.

You can run your truck there on Saturday nights. Last week the King of the Hill guys were there running in the 3&#39;s and then the street cars come in between rounds and run 12s.

Anybody up for running therenext saturday? I hope I can squeeze off a 8.6 in this heat. My old bolt on 5.3 with a 100 shot went 9 flat at 78 if I remember right, Ill be happy if I beat that by a few.

I&#39;d go but I&#39;ll be in the Tulsa area next weekend. Had plans for two years for this gathering so I can&#39;t blow it off. I&#39;ll catch ya&#39; next time. Too bad you can&#39;t make it up to Ennis with the rest of the guys. You&#39;d get to run it down a 1/4 mile track then.

I would go but I wont get there in time, unless by some grace of god I get off work around 3 I wont be able to make it up there in time. Ill keep an eye on that thread.

There is always Kennedale, too. Sunday is an open day to run street cars only. It&#39;s North Texas Raceway, I think. It&#39;s on your way home, just a little bit to the southeast of I-20 and I-35w. http://www.texasraceway.com/main.asp?page=home

Ill just go to HRP weekend after next if I dont get to go on Friday night. Im going to Houston to see family and it will give me a good excuse to not hang out with them as much
