I've got a 97 with 4L60E attached that's sold to a guy in Louisiana but if the deal falls through I'll let you know. I just sold a 99 and a 2000 vortec long block 3 weeks ago. I wish I would have known then because I let the 99 go for $350 and the 2000 for $400 and they were in great condition. I think I still have some new manifolds, new water pumps and complete used intakes left though. I'll have to look.

He's needing a long block. The rods are wiped out in his son's truck and it's easier to replace than rebuild.

im kinda the same way on a 96-2000 vortec 5.7L, but ill settle for a rebuilder.

i have a 1998 5.7 vortec already out of the truck with 129xxx miles on it. it was started before removal and sounded great. very quiet no knocking, but im in maine...
