I went to the track last night and ran my truck for the first time. Here's the run down:

2.35 60 ft
6.40 330
9.61 1/8 @ 77.21

I'm going to heat wrap my exhaust since I couldn't keep my temps up between passes. I'm also getting a 2-4 vette servo installed today and a FMIC later this week. Then I'll have to get it retuned.

I also drive this to work about 100 miles round trip everyday.

Thoughts?

I thought so too?!? I'll also add that when I had it dynoed at 8 psi it made 323 rwhp/390 tq. I thought these numbers seemed low. Any suggestions??

Something's not right. You should be in the low 8's. Who did your tune?

It's a mail order from Nelson. I live in Houston and don't have the time right now to make the drive to SA.

I see it's a Nelson tune. That thing should be soooo much faster. Get the FMIC on there in a hurry and add a methanol kit!

Thanks Red! I'll let you know how much difference it makes. Is there anything else it could be?

No further than you are to SanAntonio, I'd be making the trip over there for the live tune. Check that all your clamps are tight on the turbo system. Knock retard or excessive intake temps could kill the power.

Boost blowing out a vacuum port can cause it to lose performance also. Were you getting 8lbs of boost on those runs?

sup, i live in humble...i wouldnt mind checking out your setup some time. i agree that your setup should be running way stronger. a decent size torque converter should cut atleast 4/10 off of your 1/4 times.

old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

I checked the clamps and tightened everything down. I can make 8 psi pretty easy and I made it on that pass. When you say excessive intake temps, how much do you mean? They were getting up there a little bit.
