One of my heads has a chip around the edge of the combustion chamber. I was going to get them milled down.....Could this be fixed with some weld and machining?

Oh wow, a cast iron head! Had me worried what the hell was wrong with your LSx head, though some 6.0s have cast iron heads, huh Billy. Yeah, it can be welded. They weld cast iron with a nickel rod during repairs. The charge by the rod for that stuff. Afterwards you'll have to get the heads milled flat.

I don't think I'd bother with getting them repaired. New ones for Gen1 engines are a dime a dozen these days. Buy some Dart heads and put them on there!

If you want some spares, give Billy a call at TRT, he's got a spare pair taking up quality storage space.
