Thank you very much guys, I think this forum is the best for lsx trucks
I would like to add some power to my truck and my objective is to make a daily drive truck, that will outrun any stock Mustang, Camaro, Cayenne Turbo or even an automatic non zo6 Corvette. To be more specific, 1/4 Mile <=13 sec.

My 4X4 1988 GMC Jimmy comes with
Engine: 350 LO5
Transmission: TH700-R4 (3.06:1 First Gear) (rebuilt it last year with Borg Warner clutches, 10k Miles since rebuilt)
Rear Axle: GM Corporate 10-bolt (8.5-in. 1.28 Axle Dia. 28 Spline)
Front Axle: GM Corporate 10-bolt (8.5-in. 1.28 Axle Dia. 28 Spline)
I am thinking of LQ9 and my questions are:
Can the TH700-R4 survive the new hart? Or I need something like a TH 400, I don’t do much freeway driving with the truck.
What parts and modifications needed to connect the LQ9 to chases and drive train?
Can I reach 13 sec with the LQ9 N/A? the truck Weight is 4,676 lb?

You will need: ALL bolt-ons, cam w/ all accessories, intake, tune, meth kit, fully built tranny, converter, 4.56 gears, etc. You may need new heads to raise the C/R... Get ready to spend some time and money on this thing!I am thinking of LQ9 and my questions are:

Do you have overdrive on the 700-R4? Someone else is going to have to chime in about the LQ9 mating to the 700-R4...
