a few good runs

It was very damp out tonight, but I still got a few runs in.

Stock M3 from a 25 punch... I spun and swung the ass end over towards the curb. It finally hooked and he was at my back bumper when I shut down at 100.

STI... I pulled over to load a different tune in it with more timing, but I used the wrong file, and it actually made the truck slower. I still put a good 3 or 4 cars on him before I shut it down at 100. We got this one on vid, so I'll post it later.

modded 03 Lightning that runs 12.80's... I pulled up next to him and punched it to get his attention, and it worked. He asked what it ran, so I told him high 13's, and he bit. We tried going from a dig, but we both just sat there spinning, fishtailing, and damn near hitting each other. Then we went from a 20 roll, and I spun again; but I pulled a couple cars on him up to about 80. Then he pulled up and asked what it really ran. lmao I then found out that he's on a local board, so once it heats up, I want to run him again.

So I left the racing and headed home. As I was cruising along, an avy pulled up next to me and goosed it, but we were on a road littered with cops, so I didn't want to run him there. I could hear a blower, but I wasn't sure. He punched it so I did too. I immediately jumped in front of him and shut it down after I pulled a car ahead of him. We played that game about 5 times, and I left him like he was stock. He asked what I had, so I replied whipple, and he said that he had a procharger. He said that he's never taken it to the track yet, so he didn't know what it ran. I'd guess high very 14's at best. I was shocked it was that slow.

That&#39;s what I thought. It&#39;s probably in the very high 14&#39;s. ATI is only about a mile from my office, so I get to see alot of procharger equipped vehicles running around. They&#39;re local, so everyone seems to go with them. It makes perfect sense. If you ever run into a problem, they&#39;re right there to help you out, but... I&#39;ve NEVER been impressed with anything they&#39;ve put out, other than the mustangs. The shop here that does all of their installs and tuning is much better at buildings he fords. They all seem to run well for what they have. I just wonder why the trucks leave there so weak. I&#39;d be pissed if it were mine.

The guy may have bought it on the cheap. Didn&#39;t do an intercooler, running the stock size low boost pulley, stock convertor and highway gears. It probably feels to him like a Corvette compared to the stock performance and the belt whine gives him a stiffy.
