    yeah, that looks like oil starvation. I bet the oil pump is trashed, too. If they don't know the proper procedure for centering the oil pump you can gaurantee it's their issue.

    hope you are not totally screwed on this. If they don't redo the engine I would buy one from LKQ or get a rebuild from proheads.com. My stock lq9 from lkq is doing great. Just a cam swap and that is it. oh and 8psi.

    Did i get lucky cuz I don"t remember having to center my oil pump when i did my cam swap?

    Looked on proheads.com, didnt see any info on rebuids, what are they going for? Im getting up in miles on mine and need to start planning ahead.

    I think you have to call them. Proheads that is. LKQ can be found on the net. I am not sure what lq9s are going for now.

    Call them and speak to Rex. He is an employee there who does motor builds on his own.

    They/he built Caseys motor that he did a ton of blasts down the 1320 and spent hours on a dyno. Tons and tons of hours. Motor was nearly flawless when he pulled it apart after deciding to go to a larger motor. If I were going to have a motor built he would be the one to do it.
