I needed my back seat back. I had my T2 15 back there and had no room in the back. The center console is done at my buddys shop,(Fiber Tech) should have it painted soon.

That looks real good, especially for your first box. I think I would round the edges and paint it if it were mine.

Too much airspace though? A 10" sub should only need about 3/4 cube sealed. An easy solution if there is too much airspace is to build an enclosure that gives it proper space and mount it under the angled panel. That would leave a lot of dead space for amps, NOS bottles, etc.

the w7 will hit hard no doubt but it will definatly make a big dent in the wallet. man if u run a momo block amp only to the sub any sub you get that is stable at that ohm will rock. it really comes down to how much money you want to spend i personally like kicker i had two 12 inch L7's in my last truck in a center console box like you are building and they rocked and they are alot cheaper than the JL audios but anything you buy is going to come with a warranty so dont worry about that

And they sound like ass. L7's have no musical quality.

Hey they have quality some when tuned... just nothing close to a true SQ based sub.

ah now, we've done this dance, you know that's biased (your opinion), we have too many trophies to prove otherwise.

and you think DD sounds good, I think they are 'loud', but sound good, eh...

but then again, that'd be my opinion ...
