Crap. I was getting my hopes up. Sounded like an inexpensive way to get some extra hp.

Bulldog, did you see good results from that BBK TB? I've been eyeing those...

Go to the page and it show results. It says 13 HP on an LS1 T.A. So it might help some. But it looks like to me you have to buy the cut out for 140? and then the electronic opener for 109. or something like that. so it ends up being around 250 plus shipping. You can get you some pacesetter LT headers for 289.

Guys you have to remember they are probably showing the HP gains over a factory exhaust. And yes the turbo came into play, I just think making your exhaust louder will make you feel like your going faster or gaining HP, but your really not. IMO Don't get me wrong i love mine, but on a truck like mine i would expect no more than 5 HP if that!

True...it would be interesting to see what the actual results were.

Did you see my other question about your BBK TB?

So simply put, you're expelling exhaust before the muffler and avoiding its restriction, which in black and white, should give a little bit of a gain. The question is 'how much' and is less back pressure an issue?

I have a cutout right after each long tube header and picked up 2/10's and 3 mph in the 1/4 just by opening the cutout.

I guarantee the power to pull $300 out of your bank account never to be seen again. Hey, if you need an exhaust cutout, pay me $10 and I'll bring my sawzall over.
