In some cases the vette filter works in other cases it doesn't
You need to buy the gm filter. Spending 20 dollars on the cheap one doesn't work right

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
i bought my vette filter kit from Speedway Motors, hope it works.
The only reason it wouldnt work is if you hook it up wrong. I have never seen one not work properly. I like the wix 33737.

We use the vette filter on the majority of the swaps we do, just make sure you get the wix filter and not the house brand Oreillys filter. Wix brand actually regulates it at a steady psi. The cheaper ones have been known to jump around in psi. And that looks like a ls1 fuel rail, if it is then its a dampner.
Mine was the Wix.. tried two different ones.. it would hold pressure too high, and then it failed and held zero pressure. put in an aeromotive FPR and works perfect now.
Mine failed as i was using the vetter filter on my TBSS fuel rails, which are returnless, and my 03 truck is return style.

I have seen the results of installing the fuel filter backwards and that is exactly the same results they got. The 3/8 side of the dual fitting side is the input line of the filter and the 5/16 fitting is the return line back to the tank. The single fitting side goes to the fuel rail. Your setup is no different than anyone else's that is working properly. Many have thought the 5/16 side was for the fuel pump side only to find excessive fuel pressure at the rail.
