the motor i'm swapping has been sitting for a while & i'm trying to change out as many parts as i can. i sent my injectors off to get bench cleaned & want to know the technical name for this part so i can replace it, if possible.

    is it changeable?
since i'm going to use the Vette filter w/ built in regulator is having 2 regulators going to be a problem?

Looks like its built into the rail. May need to get aftermarket ones

i'm being told it's not a regulator, it's a fuel pulse dampener. it has a retainer clip but before i took it apart i wanted to see what others said about it.
guess i'll have to take it apart & see whats inside.

on the 97-98 vette rails its a fuel regulator

on the fbody rails its a dampener

just took it out, not much to it really. fuel system smells ready bad shellac (sp). i'll clean it up tomorrow with some carb cleaner & hope all is well.
guy called about my injectors today, said they cleaned up very nice & flow great. he also said something about the shellac smell, LOL!!!

if you're just swapping rails, trust me.. that vette filter trick does not work.. you'll want to invest in a 250 dollar FPR , some lines, some connectors, etc.. i went down that route.
