The company I worked for is a small Mom and Pop office machine company. The company sells and services copiers, faxes, printers, scanners Ect. I worked in the service department as the service manager over 7 employees. I would trouble shoot problems the other techs couldn't solve and set up deliver and install new machines on customers networks. I guess I made too much so I was the one to get the boot. I'd like to get more into the IT field which is mostly what I was doing for this company. I was also doing some contractor side jobs with another IT company from time to time which I'll be doing more of until I find the right job.

I was in Irving today and texted Greg to toss a few but no reply...anywho....

That totally sucks man. Someone as level-headed and knows his stuff like you...well...what can I say? Anyone talked to Alton lately? You high up smart oil guys are having a hard time. I can tell you the car biz ain't that great either. I really feel fortunate now.

I would try to offer help but I'm not sure what I can do. Ask anyway...

Yup me too. After 22 years at a Bobcat factory they closed the plant down to move it to mostly nonunion shops. Dec 2009 was the last month.

My new job I can fire my boss. Plan to engrave full time.

Sorry to hear that others have lost their jobs all so.
