Just did a quick 5 minute Google search, the crankshaft alone retails for $1400.

'95 Polaris 600XCR snowmobile, pipes, heads, bored carbs.
Yep, crank was $1400 new, rods were $600ish new, pistons were $600ish new, good condition blocks go for $400-500, then you have rings, bearings, main studs, machine work, and labor on top of that. Would be easy to spend $5000 plus for a new shortblock built to these specs.
