Honestly I cant think of one other site that happens on.....I'm not a vendor for anyone so I should be able to post a recommendation and contact info if I had a good experience..

I completely understand Allen not allowing Wheatley or Justin to come onhere an advertise their buisness without being a sponser BUT that and members recommending others is totally different.

Oh sorry I was referring to advertising of businesses. But I guess in your previous post you were talking about linking websites from other tuners. I guess because on pt.net GMFS and other sites there is a collection of sponsors/tuners that pay on there. I guess if you pay to be on a site then they could advertise there business

If you don't believe it happens, try that on LS1TECH, AutomotiveForum.com(where you'll get banned for life for doing it), CorvetteForum, LS2GTO and maybe FSC or GMFS. I see it many times. I personally got banned from AF for simply posting a link to here in my signature. No loss to me since I never went there before. I was simply searching the net for some fixes and found some information that was bad on there and created an account to put the right information in. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be helpful.

1.) Justin doesn't lock his tunes. I've heard plenty of times that tuners lock their tunes so if someone changes something then they aren't held liable. Personally, I didn't like that answer because then I might as well sell off my EFI-Live.

2.) The price difference is another huge factor. I paid Justin $250 for a live tune that he spent 2.5 hours on. He flashed me to a COS5 operating system and had it set up for nitrous as well. If I were to do anything remotely close to that, Nelson performance would have charged me almost double that.

3.)Justin travels all over the country and he's usually in Texas at least 2 times a year. He was in San Antonio earlier this summer and he will be in Dallas in a couple months. If you need retunes more often than that then you probably ought to invest in personal tuning software.

4.) Justin has helped me with my tunes even before I gave him my money. He has sent me probably 8-10 revised tunes through email and I'll send him log after log and he will revise whatever I've had issues with. His customer service is the best I've ever dealt with.

I think when it comes down to it, Allen, Justin and Charlie are all great tuners. I know Allen has been at it a few years longer than Justin, but I have seen quite a few unhappy threads about people with Nelson tunes. I have yet to find an unhappy Blackbear customer.

For the most part that is all factual information. I'm not here to make libel on anyone's company/name, but those were the selling points for me.

I would say most of that is true. BlackBear is really only big on GMfullsize. Wheatly is mostly on PT. So pick you tuner. Just happens that a bunch of people that Allen tunes doesn't know about this site until after the tune is finished. I have read unhappy customers of Justin's tunes on gmfs. Also you are wrong on the price Allens tunes are 300.00(pretty sure). I have had plenty of re-tunes. Allen has helped me plenty of times any time I had questions. There is nothing better than being able to call them up, pm, or just go on by and they are willing to help. Just my two cents.
    Name: Mark,
God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

Do you have any links to the unhappy customers? I'm not calling you out, but I am curious to know what their problems were. You can pm me if you'd like.

Also, I never said Allen wasn't a good tuner, or wasn't thorough or anything to that extent.

As far as the price, according to his website his tunes for a 99-06(What most people have on this site) are $375. Then you have to add $115 if you have a cam, nitrous, or forced induction. That's $490 or $565 if you want a dyno tune.

I know plenty of people charge even more than that. I'm not here to argue with his prices, just clearing up the confusion.

Attachment 1624.... It's pretty damn rude to come into someone's house, take a crap on the sofa and leave... all to turn around and do it again the next day. If it were my house, I throw your ass out in a heartbeat. I don't understand some of the agenda's in this thread? I have never said a thing about any other tuners, just promote who I use, can we just leave it at that? All this crying and bitching can go some where else for all I care.
