Keniff, I envy you. I wish I was at the point you are....

I hope to put the motor and tranny in together though. What fitting gave you troubles? Fuel fittings?

Flattopwill: they dont make a 5/16 tube to female swival -6AN fitting (atleast summit doesnt have so say) SO i had to buy a 5/16 to male -6AN then a -6AN(female) to -6AN (female) swivel
an its taken me a long time to get here. if the motor ever has to come back out im cutting the tabs on the frame mounts off. theyre in the way when your working alone.

Redheartbeat: my laptop is broken an im lazy to fix it so when i go up to my moms tomorrow (i hope) ill upload them.
ill be working on my radiator, an intake tomorrow too.

hopefully my LTs will come in soon..i need to get them powdercoated.
i ordered vette servos, an the superior 4th gear servo an cover. i needa tear into the tranny tomorrow or saturday...we'll see.

    no sir.
    your return line is 5/16 an your fuel feed line is 3/8" tube... Russell makes a 3/8 tube to -6AN swivel fitting (1) (639200) Russell makes 3/8 you need 2 for a return system, 1 for a returnless (640850) an 5/16 you need 1 for a returnless/2 for a return system (640860) fuel rail adapters. depending your intake;
    Return you'll need:
    (2) 610020 -6AN to straight hose an i like the 45* on the fuel rail side
    (2) 610090
    Returnless:
    (1) 610020
    (1) 610090
you'll need a Dorman 800-155 double check it should be the double bead 3/8" line

also, should i splice my ALT wire into the ALT wire that was in my original harness?
imma order the oil block off plate with no bosses so i can drill an tap for the oil pressure sensor. i also need to drill an tap the water pump for the water temp gauge. Redheartbeat, can i drill the water pump close to the thermo?

Why don't you use the port on the back of the passenger side head for your coolant temp? S&P sells the adapter for 18.50

its close to the firewall...im a lil uneasy about it being there. i can drill an tap it there but id rather just drill an tap the water pump.
they also make the oil block off plate adapter...but why pay 20.00 for something i can do at my house?

Its difficult to work with spark plug changes and many things since the sensor is back there. I'd tap behind the tensioner, lots of stock to hold the sensor. You could do it by the heater hose outlets. Another option could be to tap the large water plug under the driver side of the block.

I've never done a truck alternator to OBS setup, the one wire splice trick works on the Fbody alt.

All the speedo wiring goes to the pcm from the transmission, both front and rear sensors. You have a speedo output from the PCM that you connect to the head unit.
