the motor i'm swapping has been sitting for a while & i'm trying to change out as many parts as i can. i sent my injectors off to get bench cleaned & want to know the technical name for this part so i can replace it, if possible.

MY GARAGE - http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...ns-garage.html
2004 GMC Sierra - RCSB
It's a doohickie.
I mean fuel pressure regulator
04 RCSB 5.3, Homemade 80mm FM, TU1, TH400
is it changeable?
since i'm going to use the Vette filter w/ built in regulator is having 2 regulators going to be a problem?
Looks like its built into the rail. May need to get aftermarket ones

i'm being told it's not a regulator, it's a fuel pulse dampener. it has a retainer clip but before i took it apart i wanted to see what others said about it.
guess i'll have to take it apart & see whats inside.

i'm not swapping rails, just cleaning this one up. it's been sitting for a while.
what do you mean the vette filter doesn't work?
The only reason it wouldnt work is if you hook it up wrong. I have never seen one not work properly. I like the wix 33737.
