Derrrrr... more than one variable. could be tune or idle-stop screw... dunno. Refresh memory... DBW or cable driven?

    Cable

the butterfly's not open at all...Idle air controls working, (removed it and pressed it in, then turned key to "on" and it came out, then back in, back out (doing it's check)) Pulled throttle position sensor, looked imaculate! worked it a few times, installed it again.

    still runs high...really high...

Edit: i called Nelson, and left a message...we'll see what they say....i did get the auto tranny tune, but meant to get the manual tranny tune...would that make it have a higher idle because of the torque convertor load?

    chuck,
    they do run with gasoline...
plug the IAC hole in throttle body. check idle,
if still high vacuum leak. check the rear of
manifold for power brake supply (large 3/8" leak).

Well, plugging that into the brake booster brought the RPMs down to about 1500....any more advice?

Ok, i've found the port you were talking about....plugged it with my finger...she purrs like a kitten....i'm really excited now...

Is that a special hose fitting? (the rear port on the manifold, brake booster)

ive tried to just order that power brake fitting with no luck.
ive got two in the manifolds and cannot remove them without
breakage. currently i have a vacuum nipple blocking the port
temporarily until i locate that fitting.

What about air intakes? What tubes are you guys running to keep the MAF sensor and a filter...i've got all the stock parts...but i'm not sure they'll fit under my jeep hood....i searched but didn't have much luck...cause you can't search "air" because it's only 3 letters long...weird...anyways...any links to pics would be great.

    Thank in advance
