stock converters are cheap and plentfull. put one back in and see what happens...

on a side note 2000 rpm brake stall on a TB stall with a radix is LOW! my N/A stock cammed 5.3 would get it up around 23-2400 and your 5.3 should have alot more torque.

have you ever thought about the problem being somewhere else? your current times look about identical to my 5.3 times with the TB stall but i was a stock cammed 5.3 without a charger. you should be mid/high 12's consistantly IMO. anyone near you have a wideband? im sure you have a boost guage and all that jazz too right?

what springs do you have in the motor? i had some valve float with the new motor that would make my truck feel and sound like the converter was locking and unlocking on me randomly at WOT.

old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

when i had the tbstall the best 60ft was a 1.77 and that was one time only, but was consistant on 1.84-1.89 and with the stock stall im at 1.87-1.91, cuz when i ran the 12.79@105mph that was with stock stall and my 60ft on that time was a 1.88, just seems i do better with the stock one, but other than that i wouldnt know what could be wrong.
im running stock springs, no cam, no internals.
well and with this pi vig 2600 could only stall about the same as tbstall,

With FI the best through-put of air will make the most HP. You'll want to do a cam later, probably, but you have got to allow the gases to exit the engine as fast as possible. You're already pushing the air in, now you gotta get the air out! Huge cams and stock exhaust just don't work that great together.

Cam it, then. What size exhaust do you have? Is it the stock size or larger? Shorties have the same size opening to the y-pipe as the stock unit, I believe. Personally, I would buy a set of long tubes with 3" minimum collectors and then either put dumps on it or increase the exhaust piping to 3" with true duals.
