I thought the same thing but everyone was dynoing much lower than they expected. A pretty sick Cobra put down 601 on a dynojet a few months ago then only put down 488 I this mustang dyno.
I know it's like comparing apples to oranges when it comes to dynos but I'm happy with it. There was a pullied/tuned 01 lightning that only put down 303.
That's less than what a stock 5.3 puts down! There's definitely something going on with that dyno!
