    Yeah its a weekend and would like to drive it on the highway at least 2 times out of the week, so what about porting the heads and the holley intake with the 456s and 3600 stall? No bueno? The truck is a crewcab fyi lol

    Never mind porting the heads. For a what a set of CNC ported, milled brand new heads cost now, I don't see the cost effectiveness. Unless you know head porting like the back of your hand. And 4.8s love to rev, in a heavy ass crew cab you're really gonna have to take advantage of that. Lots of gear, lots of stall, spin the piss out of it.

    Yeah the cost is not the problem, just wondering if they'd help thinking of spinning it up to 7500rpms

    lol my Z71 is a gas guzzler i say youre in the wrong hobbie if youre worried about gas!! lol



    youre moving a heavy truck with a small cubic inch engine no thoughts on FI ? this actually changes alot concidering the weight of the truck, unless you plan on gutting it
