    You are right, the first gens are crazy light, not the second gens though.

    I have a time slip at the house from 1999 when my truck was bone stock that has 3675 written on it which was the weight at the track.

    weighed my s10 back in 01 and wasnt no where near that light...4100 with me in it 4wd truck....
    farmtruck isnt much heavier then this LT1 s10 difference is what 200 lbs?

    Yup, black x is 3900 with no driver. Full weight single cab xtreme with iron 408 and rear mont 91mm. He actually ran a 8.8@153 ish last year.

    Still on leaf springs. Last time I was on a scale it was 3475 with me in it and ~10 gallons of fuel.

    so 3500lbs on leafs and caltracs on a small tire vs a 3800lb truck that is backhalfed on a huge tire

    small cubes single turbo vs big cubes and twins

    A s10 is still lighter than a full size regardless the argument lol.if I put my setup in a mini i would have a single digit truck as well but I rather try and get there in my heavy full size show truck

    are you aware there are fullsize trucks that are lighter then some s10s that are racing? what makes it any different?
