And if you have anyone in the family who is or was in the military you get a discount, about $1500 off, on an extended warranty.

I was super skeptical about them also when we started talking about Hyundai but after driving one I am definitely a believer. They have come a long way from what they once were. My wife is a lot like Kristen..champagne taste with beer budget..she wants a fully loaded Yukon but thats way beyond the price range and she couldn't be happier with the Elantra.
I wish i would have known you guys were gonna buy one. I could have got you a discount

We test drove a 12 maxima. She doesn't like the looks of them though. Kia is probably out as well because we don't have a dealer close. The whole point of us getting her something new is reliability and warranty and ease of repair if something happens while she's in school and I'm out of state working. She will have my crew cab if something really happens, but I want a repair as easy as possible if something happens. No we are not set on something new as long as whatever we get has a warranty for 60-100k miles. I haven't looked at the new dodges yet. I never liked the interior on a didge as it seems cheap.

If it doesn't have to be new the pontaic grand prix gtp. Get's over 30mpg and is boosted. I've had our since 2005 no problem at all, but we hardly drive it. Fully loaded leather 6disk, monsoon, moonroof, headed seats, HUD. There really nice cars.

It has to have a good warranty, so yeah needs to be fairly new.

I'm not sure when they stop making them but just throwing it out there if your looking for a family mid sized roomy car, check the stealerships around you. I would say a
G8 but there not good on gas but are roomy and have great interior.

The GS we have on the lot is automatic, has the nice 19s, brembo brakes and all the bells and whistles. The CXL you can get with the same 2.0L turbo but only 220hp or the 2.4 N/A. For some stupid reason some models are different between the USA and Canada. Not sure why. Your 05-09 Buick Lacrosse's down there are called Buick Allure's up here, in 2010 now they're called a Lacrosse up here now too. Not sure what the reasoning is...
2000 Chevy Silverado RCSB LS6 5 speed, LS6 short block, 317 heads, LS6 intake, Lunati 220/224 .575/.575 112LSA cam, Edelbrock Headers, CTS-V accessory drive, Nelson Performance Custom Tune.

I don't like the front of the cxl as well either. The regal in an automatic would be great for her, as long as I can keep my hands off it lol

I've yet to see a manual Regal yet, would love to have a manual GS.

Here's the one on the lot I'm talking about, come on up and buy it, it'd only be a 1800 mile tour or so. (and yes, cars in Canada are WAY more expensive than the States.)

Here's one not far from me. I might go drive it and see how I feel about it. She's pretty much narrowed it down to the Regal vs the Altima, either in Black or Pearl White.
