It's cool to watch the exhibition rail dragsters with the diesel engines in them but still they don't go fast enough to contend with similar vehicles in the gas engine world. It is no comparison to when they threw a pair of turbos on a small block, put it in a funny car running gasoline instead of nitro-methane and beat the pants off a top fuel funny car, only to be banned from competition by the NHRA.
