Hey guys I'm Robb from Lewisville tx. I guess I joined long ago and looking around again so time to post! I'm ready to do a lsx swap in my 95. Here to find what's best, easiest, what parts are needed and then do it and post up my results. Im on all the other truck sites too, looking around this one is very informative with little bashing so that's good! Lol

94 5.7 tbi paxton supercharged. I swapped the vortec v6 for this a few years ago and its time again!

Thanks man I hope so! I guess my first question is what year 5.3 to buy and what not to buy? Should i get it without the harness and pcm and just get that all from Nelson Performance? Thats seems to be the best route just more expensive.

Update: this all stared with me wanting to paint my front frame clip, so I pulled the motor, sold the motor and painted the clip! Now I'm searching for a 5.3 or 6.0. If anyone knows a good place in the DFW area please let me know! I've called some salvage yards and the best deal is it Chris auto in Waxahatchie. Any one have expirence with them?
