Bigger cam will chew thru gas and gas here is now $5.41 a liter and they predict it to be $6.05 by mid summer. Anyone recommend a cam that will not have a rough idle and chew thru gas and he wont have to change out his convertor ??

Ls6 cam would give you what you want. Or maybe a comp 212/218 low lift. I'm building a 6.0 for my dd and will probably go with one of these cams. I'm in Cali so gas is really high right now too. Plus I need to be able to pass emissions tests.

It'll make a nice improvement. Set of 243's on top and it'll be an iron LS2
